Description
This well cared for beauty has just come on the market. The listing broker sold as new, and every owner has babied her. With fresh Awlgrip in 2021, she is beautiful, capable, lightly used and ready for cruising, whether locally, down-island or on the Great Loop.
One of the least discussed aspects of good, modern downeast cruisers is their sea-kindliness and mannerly performance throughout the RPM range. With so many cruisers, there is either FAST or SLOW, with an unsafe and uncomfortable transition between those two modes. With the Back Cove 33, there is little bow rise, all aboard are comfortable, and the vessel is efficient and safe at all speeds, while still able to zip along at a 18 - 23 knot cruising speed with a very modest fuel burn.
'Seas the Day' features the upgraded, big engine option (480 HP Cummins), bow and stern thrusters, low hours, a comprehensive equipment package. She is ready to go!

As the newest member of the East Coast Yacht Sales team, Kevin comes to the firm having had a successful, nearly three-decade career in yacht brokerage at another upper bracket broker/dealer in New Jersey. Among Kevin’s professional distinctions is having served on the Yacht Broker’s Association of America Board of Directors, a peer-elected position. Kevin is a Florida-licensed broker and is the only Certified Professional Yacht Broker working in New Jersey.
Kevin grew up in Maryland, sailing out of Annapolis, and has lived aboard, sailed all over the world, delivered boats to and from the Caribbean, and more. His industry contacts are vast. Kevin has sold boats from as far away as Australia and the Med. The ‘just right’ sailboat, dayboat or motoryacht is out there for most boaters. Kevin will find it for you, or find the right buyer for your boat!
A sailor by nature and practice, Kevin’s best skill set may be on display in the galley. Kevin and his wife have travelled extensively, volunteered abroad and here at home, and have studied and sampled multiple cuisines, learning that the best way to appreciate a culture other than one’s own is in the galley or kitchen, or around the dining room or cockpit table. When not boating or actively selling boats, Kevin and his wife Joan are either looking after their bees, or growing organic berries and fruits and veggies at their home in Little Silver, New Jersey.
